Last month I went on a vacation with my family up to Washington State and while there I set aside some time to do sessions. And I can't tell you how happy I am that I decided to do that. It was so great to be able to take photos in an area that is so opposite of what I am used to down here in Arizona. The green, the temperate climate and the water. Oh the water!!
One of the families that I took photos of asked to have their photo shoot at a large regional park in Southwest Washington, Lewisville Park. While I had grown up in the area around the park, it had been at least 10 years since I had visited the park myself. And it was just as beautiful as I remembered it...the green grass, the tall green trees and the river flowing. And to help make the photo shoot even better was the chance to capture memories of the family of old friends of mine. One was someone that I went to school with from elementary age through to High School and the other I met at my first "grown-up" job while I was in college. And their children...oh, they are adorable little boys with amazingly sweet personalities....just like their parents!
Thank you Geloff family for asking me to capture your family memories...It was wonderful being able to catch up with you and meet your cute little ones!
