This weekend I was excited to be able to shoot a wedding up in Payson, Arizona for a good friend. The wedding was intimate, casual and absolutely beautiful! Congrats to the new couple!

Alexa - 1 Month Old {Tempe, AZ Children's Photographer}

I got the chance to take photos of one of my newborn clients on the day that she turned 1 month old! This little sweetie is just great to shoot...she is calm, happy, beautiful and still loves to sleep a lot...which makes my job easy!

But my favorite moment of the day was catching Alexa with her two big (very proud) sisters watching over her! What a lucky little one!

This weekend we had to say goodbye to friends that are moving to California. So I brought along my camera, some great big suckers and got in a couple of photos of Caleb with two of his best girlfriends!

And I couldn't resist getting in a couple of shots of the whole family! 

And a quick shot of the two proud big sisters' with little one month old Alexa!

Welcome to my new blog!

I can't even begin to tell you how excited I am to finally begin this journey!

I purchased my first 35mm film camera back in college (and I won't tell you how long ago that was...so don't ask!) and I instantly fell in love with photography! I upgraded to a digital SLR two years ago and fell in love all over again because of the flexibility of digital photography. And then, about a year ago I began doing photo shoots for friends and family and realized that within that realm is where my talent and true love of photography was.

Being able to capture true and real moments of your family...it's where it's at for me! And being being there to freeze a moment in time for a family and to be able to capture the love you have for each other and the joy on your children's faces is just priceless!

Of late, I have also recently been getting into newborn photography and wowza, is it an amazing thing to see new life so soon after birth and to be able to be invited into someone's home to capture the love of having a new addition in your family.


I will be using this blog as a way to give clients & families' sneak peeks of their photo shoots and as a way to announce specials, among other things!
