Shauna - My lovely friend {Mesa, AZ Portrait Photographer}

I am so very lucky to have such beautiful people in my life. Wonderful people that are lovely both inside and out...and my friend Shauna is just one of these people. She is giving, thoughtful has an infectious smile and is so absolutely stunning. A few months ago she asked me to take some new photos of her and I was more than happy to oblige! I had been dying to try out a new venue and I knew that this shoot would be the perfect time to do it.  

 Thank you Shauna for being such a wonderful person...someone to offer hugs and support to me at both the high and low points of my life. You are so lovely and beautiful and I appreciate you! 

Fall Mini-Sessions - Dates Finally Set!

Just a reminder that I am offering limited fall mini-sessions this year and I have finally set the dates for them!  They will be weekend afternoon sessions on October 8 & October 9 & October 23, location to be told to you AFTER booking. (Location will be in the east valley.) I am only booking 3 30-minute sessions for each day, so I’m expecting them to fill pretty quickly. (Times will be 4:30pm, 5:00pm & 5:30pm) Take a look at what is offered in the session and contact me at jennschellphotography@gmail.com if you would like to book.  A $50 deposit secures your session date and time.

Santa Cruz Boardwalk

Last month my family took a trip along the west coast. We traveled by car and visited family and friends in Washington, Oregon & California. While in California we stayed with some wonderful friends just outside of San Francisco and we took a day trip to the Santa Cruz boardwalk. It was our last official day of vacation and I couldn't think of a better way to end our trip! Here are 2 of my favorite shots from the day: 

While the day was hazy and cold...the beauty of the beach just took us in, while the rides brought back memories of visiting the county fair with my family as a child. It was a wonderful day!

  

Geloff Family {Vancouver, WA Family Photographer}

Last month I went on a vacation with my family up to Washington State and while there I set aside some time to do sessions. And I can't tell you how happy I am that I decided to do that. It was so great to be able to take photos in an area that is so opposite of what I am used to down here in Arizona. The green, the temperate climate and the water. Oh the water!! 

 One of the families that I took photos of asked to have their photo shoot at a large regional park in Southwest Washington, Lewisville Park. While I had grown up in the area around the park, it had been at least 10 years since I had visited the park myself. And it was just as beautiful as I remembered it...the green grass, the tall green trees and the river flowing. And to help make the photo shoot even better was the chance to capture memories of the family of old friends of mine. One was someone that I went to school with from elementary age through to High School and the other I met at my first "grown-up" job while I was in college. And their children...oh, they are adorable little boys with amazingly sweet personalities....just like their parents!

Thank you Geloff family for asking me to capture your family memories...It was wonderful being able to catch up with you and meet your cute little ones!

Ptak Wedding - Payson, AZ Wedding Photographer

I was lucky enough to be able to photograph a wedding for a good friend...A friend that deserves amazing happiness and beauty in her life! I was thrilled to be able to not only be a witness to a wonderful day for her, but to also be the one that recorded her special day for her! Congratulation Anna and John....may your life be filled with love, happiness and may your joining together bring you more joy than you can imagine!





It was such a beautiful day & an absolutely beautiful location. And...any bride and groom willing to head on down to the creek and get some amazing photos are pretty awesome in my book! Congrats you two! May happiness always surround you!!
