Being Neighborly {Gilbert, AZ Family Photographer}

When I was a little girl I used to dream about being able to live in a neighborhood like the ones that you saw on television shows and in the movies. You know...like the ones where everyone knows everyone, your neighbors help each other out with meals and babysitting when you need it and there are block parties.

Well, when we moved into Gilbert over 8 years ago we were lucky enough to move into that kind of neighborhood. A neighborhood filled with wonderful young families, a helping hand when you need it, bbq's & pool parties on the weekend and a bottle of wine or a margarita when you've had a rough day. And our next door neighbors have become one of our closest friends. We watch each others kids, go to swimming lessons together, and we've been there for each other when a helping hand is needed.

On the Sunday just before Christmas my wonderful next door neighbors and I headed out early on a Sunday morning and squeezed in a quick photo shoot...all the while keeping a close eye on the looming storm clouds and praying that the rain would hold off for an hour so that we could get some photos in.

Baby Alexa - {Chandler, AZ Newborn Photographer}

Baby Alexa is the 3rd daughter of one of my closest friends and she is also one of the BEST babies that I have ever been around. (After my own son of course!) I had the opportunity to photograph her when she was just 7 days old earlier this year and I hadn't had the chance to blog her photos yet...so she is going to be my "New Year Baby" to get this year started in the right direction!
