An early morning by the river {Mesa, AZ Family Photographer}

A few months ago I met up with a good friend of mine, who was in town from Washington, DC, and her family for a photo shoot. It was early in the morning, the sun was shining, the grass was green and it there was a chill in the air. AND we had so much fun...just talking and laughing and taking photos! Here are a few of my favorites from the session!

Have you ever seen any bigger smiles or laughs? Seriously...I just love this whole family!! And Miss Samantha, I miss seeing your smiling face and can't wait to see you on your next trip back to Arizona!!

So Sweet {Mesa, AZ Couples Photographer}

Just after the holidays I met up with an amazing family for a extended family photo session. This session was one of my favorites to date. Partly because of the location (which was Ah-MAZE-ing!) but also because of the people! Natalie and her boyfriend (now fiancé--OOOH YEAH! So happy for them!!) were there with her family and we managed to sneak in a couple of shots of them together....Aren't they just adorable?!?

(You might recognize the lovely lady in the photos below from a preview that I posted here.)

Stay tuned for more photos from this awesome session soon!

My life {Gilbert, Arizona Lifestyle Photographer}

Whenever I look at him, I always notice his eyelashes. They are long & think & make me totally jealous! And that smile...oh that smile just melts me.

ps. the weather here in Arizona has been just beautiful lately...making for lots of afternoons spent outside in the yard or at the local park. And yes...we are soaking up the sun, especially a little boy that loves to ride his bike!

Just like being back in college! {Mesa, Arizona Family Photographer}

At the end of last month a college friend of mine came into town to celebrate her grandparents 60th wedding anniversary...and she & her family stayed with us. It was so much fun because we haven't spent much time together since marrying and having our families...mostly because we've lived in either different cities or different states for the last 10 years!

It was great to be able to catch up....and to be asked to take photos for the family since all 4 generations were in one place! But while taking photos for the WHOLE family...we also stole away from the group for a few minutes to get in a few of just her & her family. I'll share the rest of the photos with you all soon!

Thanks for staying with us Danielle...we really had a blast and I loved that the conversation flowed  just as easily as it did back when we were in college!

Just like old friends {Glendale, AZ Family Photographer}

Do you ever have one of those moments where when you meet someone for the first time you instantly feel like you're old friends? Well, when I met up with the Cotton family that is just how it felt...like we had been friends for YEARS! They were sweet, kind & absolutely wonderful to work with and our time together just flew by....before we knew it 90 minutes had passed and we had a camera full of wonderful photos to show for it!

Thank you Cotton family for choosing me to take your family photos! I had a wonderful time meeting you!
